Eat healthy, live longer – Part 3

Gras. Fois gras. (Fat liver...).

Living to the ripe old age of 100 years old is something that many of us dream of accomplishing. This dream can become a reality, when we take the time to really think of how we nourish our bodies. By maintaining a healthy lifestyle and really thinking about our daily activities, all of us can live a longer life. 100 years seems like a long time, but in all reality, time is something that passes by rather quickly.

We all know that we should watch our fat intake, but do we? Many of us know what we should and should not eat, but choose to not practice what we preach. By using olive oil when we fry our foods, we can lower our cholesterol levels, therefore; lowering our risk of heart disease. When we opt to eat in restaurants, we do not have control over the types of oils that are used when it comes to frying food. Therefore, opting to eat at home is a much wiser choice. When we eat at home, we have control over the amount of fat we take in, as well as portion size. How many times have you ordered a double stacked hamburger at a restaurant and ordered the “large” size and eaten the whole thing? Chances are, you have.

About one in three adults in our country have problems with high blood pressure, and many do not even know their blood pressure is off of the charts! High blood pressure can lead to strokes, heart disease, and even kidney failure. By reducing the amount of salt in our diets, we can reduce the risks of these debilitating diseases. By choosing herbs and spices, we can flavor our foods without a ton of sodium that our bodies do not need.

Striving to eat five servings of fruits and vegetables is something that many of us struggle with, but in all reality, we need to make sure we are enjoying these great antioxidants on a daily basis. Some people argue that it is difficult to take in these vital vitamins in their daily diets, but how can they afford not to? Again, by eating at home and controlling what is put on our plates will help all of us in achieving this goal. Five a day is something that our hearts, lungs, and muscles will all benefit from. A great way to take in our first serving for the day is to enjoy a healthy topping of blueberries on top of a bowl of oatmeal! Blueberries are known for their ability keep our vision in tip top shape, as well as keeping our memory intact.

By eating healthy and taking inventory as to what we are putting in our bodies on a daily basis, we put ourselves closer to the ripe young age of 100! A healthy lifestyle can lead to a much longer life. This whole concept of healthy eating sounds rather complex; but once we understand the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle it all becomes a daily routine. By blending exercise with our healthy eating habits, we will live long healthy lives!

So, what is on the table for supper? How about indluging in a flaky, baked dark fleshed fish? This fish is home to Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 contains fish oil and it greatly reduces our cholesterol levels, keeps our blood from clotting excessively, as well as giving our bodies protein. By thinking about what we are putting in our bodies, we will live longer and lead a healthy lifestyle.

I thought Id write an article explaining the real reason why were fat or a theory really on what stops us losing weight!

Ask yourself…

Could it be the harmful Plaque that lives inside our Guts? Or is it the harmful Parasites that cause the fat that we cant shift?

Apparently- Everybody has these parasites and plaque living and breeding inside them, and if we keep living with these beasties inside of us, we will never be able to lose weight and fight the fat!

The parasites and plaque stop fat loss due to attaching themselves to us, if left to live and breed inside our stomach, small and large intestines and colon, they will eventually cause us to puff up, gain lots of weight, get sick more often, and take many, many years off our lives! Parasites can even become “mineralized” and block our body’s ability to absorb nutrition properly! Its almost like they wait there with a bat hitting home runs with nutritional food! Needless to say they must be removed somehow.

In particular a Doctor, by the name Dr Suzanne, claims to have techniques which help flush them down the toilet for good to help maintain fat loss and make us healthier. Who doesnt want to feel all cleansed and clean inside? And the thought of having nasty parasites living inside me doesnt make me feel good at all! It even makes me a little angry that if this is true all the fat loss programs Ive done in the past have been wasted just because of these little critters.

They are so many diets on the market and information on the dos and donts of fat loss that this discovery about plaque and parasites stopping fat loss could actually be true!

The difference here is she has had fat loss issues of her own and researched into the best way to lose weight and stay healthy. Japan refuses to import any dairy or meat products from America due to the parasites and plaque they may contain from chemicals being added. (Thinking about it though, not many Japanese people I know are overweight, but Americans do have that stereotype).

A valid point Dr Suzanne makes is that the sicker we are the more money the health industry makes and when we cant fight the fat and our health suffers, someone will always profit. This will never be us as sufferers, but if the people in the health industry are getting more money for us being sick surely they would keep it a secret.

Fat loss is easy once your system is all cleaned out and the plaque and parasites are gone, once your digestive system starts working properly again, the fat is supposed to just disappear, not to mention how healthy you will feel and how much more energy you will have from eating properly and not have these little beasties working against everything you are doing to better yourself from within.

You Can Be Fat and Happy

People that are overweight are frowned upon by the thin and slim almost everywhere you go in life, and even discriminated against. Slim people are chosen for jobs over those that are overweight for example, though the fat person may be better qualified for the job. The weight loss industry openly thrives on making people miserable, outlining the horrors of being fat any way possible so that they can sell their products. Of course they will do everything possible to sell these diets, weight loss pills and other products and it is them more than anyone else that has brainwashed society into making people think that being overweight is a curse.

Sure it may not be healthy if you are really grossly overweight in the term called obese, but of you are portly, or plumpish or a little cuddlier than others it is not any more than a death sentence than for those that smoke, drink alcohol, or drive their cars on dangerous roads. People are all built differently and have different metabolisms as well and some people that are a little overweight can do anything they wish but no matter how hard they try they will not lose even a single pound.

Fat people have the nicest personalities.

If you have a friend that is overweight you will no doubt already know that the majority of fat people have the nicest of personalities. No wonder then; that it is your overweight friend that you will turn to for support in a crisis, and no wonder that the person that is a little overweight is the most steadfast of friends or companions. Many overweight people have lived long healthy fulfilled lives though they may have been ridiculed from as early as their school years, and perhaps if they learnt to accept the way they were no matter what people said lived happier lives than many slim people that had the horrors as soon as they picked up a single extra pound round the waist. Its time to get start living and accepting who you are!

Subtle changes to balance your lifestyle weight

There is a difference between being fat or a little overweight and being obese. This is an undesirable condition that needs to be attended to. Actual obesity is the result of certain factors and not just that of overeating. Some examples where obesity will occur are from compulsive overeating, eating due to loneliness or to fill a void due to loss of a loved one, or habitual eating. This condition is best treated by the assistance of a specialist or doctor and not just from a simple weight loss program.

If you are a little more fat than you would like there are some small lifestyle changes you can make without turning your life into misery. Here are a few tips:

Change the type of bread you eat. From white to rye bread or wholegrain.

Eat smaller portions of food and take time to eat slowly.

Change from whole fat milk to low fat milk.

Use less sugar in your Coffee and Teas and drink sugar free soft drinks

Be a little more active in your normal everyday activities.

Say no thanks to the second slice of cake or donut.

Eat take out once a week only or less.

These few minor changes in your lifestyle will gradually lose you a pound or tow over the long term. If your body has achieved a balanced weight according to your normal lifestyle and you are a little more round than others and happy then accept it and get on with your life without worrying what everybody else thinks.

Drinking, smoking, stress, poor sleeping habits, low self image, etc. all effect your body and can contribute to the accumulation of belly fat.

Getting rid of excess belly fat can actually lower high blood pressure… a major health risk. Reduce stress, and you create an environment where belly fat fails to thrive. Last, but certainly not least, improve self image to ensure long term leanness… and you’ll keep the bell fat off forever.

While there is probably room for improvement in all the areas of exercise, diet and lifestyle… there is usually one area that is more of a problem than the others.
